Here’s a place to check results and comment along with a new episode of AEW Dynamite, airing tonight at 8 pm ET on TBS.

Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what led up to, and what we’re looking forward to on, tonight’s show.

This week’s show is sponsored by HBO’s House of the Dragon, and comes our way from Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia. It features a two-out-of-three falls match rematch between Bryan Danielson & Daniel Garcia -- with Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat as guest timekeeper (and for added brand synergy), and The Young Bucks & a mystery partner (expected to be a returning Kenny Omega vs, Andrade El Ídolo, Rush & Dragon Lee to kick off the Trios Title Tournament! Plus, top ranked Toni Storm takes on KiLynn King, Varsity Blondes tangle with Gunn Club, and more! Maybe we’ll hear from that CM Punk guy who came back last week?

Come right back here at 8 pm ET when the Dynamite live blog kicks off once the show starts on TBS. It will be below this line here.

This is the dark side of humanity to liberate treacherous insanity. You can’t ignore the truth behind that followed us until the end of time. You see the stars when the night is done, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a video package tying the new Game of Thrones spin-off thematically into tonight’s card.

CM Punk makes his entrance, the AEW World Championship on his shoulder.

He gets on the mic and says the crowd ruins his tough guy face by making him smile, and his smile isn’t the prettiest, but his belt is the prettiest. He hasn’t been around and he has some business to attend to, and he wants to start with the less important stuff.

He says there’s somebody who’s from around these parts that he’d like to challenge to a rematch right here and right now. He sets the belt down and sits crosslegged in front of it, calling him out and telling him if he wants his rematch he’s got it, right now.

Page doesn’t come down and he says that’s coward shit, and the apology must be at least as loud as the disrespect, as a general rule. And if anybody else wants some, come on down, because everybody wants to be the champ but nobody wants to do champ shit.

Jon Moxley’s got a lot of fans and he can be number one in your heart but he’s not number one in this ring, and CM Punk is *the* AEW World Champion. He knows what it’s like to talk a big game and claim to be the best and he knows what it’s like to lose, but Mox has always been number two.

There’s always been a guy that has his number, and Punk is that guy. Jon Moxley is the third best guy in his own group, and that seems to be a reoccurring theme in his career. He calls Eddie Kingston the third best Eddie and second best Kingston he’s ever been in a locker room with

He repeatedly asks us to tell him when he’s telling lies and admits he missed us (missed you too, sir) and he missed defending the title and he’s ready to do it again against Jon Moxley at All Out. And hey, Jon Moxley ain’t even the first John he’s gonna beat in Chicago!

Punk says he’s got some time before he gets here so he’s gonna do some snow angels.

Indeed, Mox moseys his way down and gets on the mic in his own time. He says to watch out, Punk’s dropping pipe bombs, writing checks with his mouth that his body can’t cash yet again. He thinks he’s the best wrestler in the world? Most of the time he’s not even the best wrestler in catering.

CM thinks the microphone in his hands is power, but this is the real world, and the words he spits into the mic don’t mean shit and neither does the belt on his shoulder. And to be fair, the belt on his own shoulder don’t mean shit until he beats Punk. He’s the heart and soul of this company and every time he’s called interim it grates on him.

Punk says he can be the heart and soul, that’s fine, he’s the dollars and cents. Jon says they both know he only came to AEW because he ran out of money and being the best is about guts and fighting spirit and we all know CM ran out of fighting spirit a long time ago.

Go ahead, prove him wrong, do something about he, he isn’t gonna do shit. Punk says they have a match at the pay-per-view and he’s afraid if he touches him now he’s just gonna bleed all over him. They go forehead to forehead, Mox butts in and they start unloading frantic punches on each other as staff try to pull them apart!

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs is interviewed backstage.

He says Ricky Starks showed the world his true colors, that he’s okay with losing, and for two years he’s paraded around like he’s god’s gift to this business, hiding behind him so he’d stay champion, and he couldn’t do it. Hobbs doesn’t just break backs, he breaks necks, and he’s got something for QT and the Factory, too.

Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat is shown at the table as special guest timekeeper.

Chris Jericho makes his entrance to join commentary for this one.

GARCIA BUSTS OUT A DANIELSON SPECIAL!

Bryan gets a Regalplex out of it, deathlock the legs, northern forearm and into the Regal Stretch! Daniel bails, dropkick clocks him but he sidesteps a knee off the apron and hits a back suplex on the American Dragon! Throwing Danielson back inside, hooking him for the overhead elbows, raining them down!

Pick the legs, Dragontamer but Bryan turns his hips and throws upkicks to reverse into a triangle choke! Garcia with a deadlift... PILEDRIVER! Arm-trap Dragon sleeper applied, Danielson fading and referee Bryce Remsburg calls it...

Daniel Garcia wins the first fall by referee stoppage with an arm-trap Dragon sleeper.

Bryce counts as Danielson stumbles to his feet and Garcia blasts him with a forearm! Boots in the corner, chops, and we go to break on a running corner dropkick.

Back from commercial, Garcia is stomping Danielson in the ropes! Wristlock, kicks to the face, a bloodied Danielson gets fired up and steps up through them! Leg kicks, Daniel counters with an arm wringer, back to the Dragon sleeper, rolling through an attempt to counter it and following it with overhead elbows!

Garcia breaks away, big right hand, corner running dropkick, Bryan shrugs it off and chops him!

Bryan powers up and strats throwing ‘em again, Daniel flags and Dragon lays ‘em in! To the mat, raining elbows down, Garcia trying to turtle up but Bryan hammers him with impunity!

Wrists clutched, Daniel reverses to face stomps of his own! Danielson reverses and rains headbutts to the chest down! Holding his wrists, now Bryan kicks his head in! Triangle choke applied, overhead elbows to the crown of his head, Garcia trying to deadlift but he collapses and Danielson throws punches!

Turning his hips, shifting to a LeBell Lock, trapping Daniel in the middle of the ring! Grabbing the far arm, raining more elbows down, back to the crossface and wrenching it in...

Bryan Danielson wins the third and final fall by submission with the LeBell Lock, going 2-1 and winning the match as a whole.

Post-match, Danielson talks to a shellshocked Garcia and gestures at himself before offering a hand. Red Death gets to his feet and is about to accept it but Chris Jericho attacks Danielson from behind! GARCIA PULLS Y2J OFF OF DANIELSON! Chris points a finger at him and Daniel slaps it away!

Jericho tells him he better think about this and leaves the ring.

Swerve in Our Glory and Private Party are interviewed backstage.

Shane Strickland says they should be thankful and Private Party question him for what, and he says this is as close as they’re getting to the tag titles, and after their match they can walk their happy asses back down the ladder.

Private Party swat the gum out of Keith Lee’s hand and we go to break.

Tony Nese makes his entrance and Jon Moxley blindsides him and “Smart” Mark Sterling both, laying them out on the stage.

He rolls in the ring and calls CM Punk out.

He says he’s sick of waiting, and if Punk wants to unify the belts, he wants to get it over with!

Enter CM Punk, chased by staff who try to hold him back, and Moxley rushes the crowd! Claudio Castagnoli is in the ring to hold Jon back while Pat Buck tries to play peacemaker! Wheeler YUTA is there too, trying to talk sense into his teammate and finally Jon walks out through the crowd.

2.0 and Chris Jericho are interviewed backstage.

Jericho says he’s gonna give Daniel Garcia a pass for tonight, he might have been a little fuzzy and didn’t realize what he was doing when he puts hands on him. Maybe he’s wavering, but he needs to know for sure and they’re gonna have a face-to-face chat next week.

Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat rolls up.

He says he’s been watching Garcia and he doens’t need Jericho, who’s the same guy he was fifteen years ago, and Danielson would be the better choice to mentor Daniel Garcia. Chris tells him to keep his hands off him and stay out of his business and walks off. Angelo Parker gets physical with Steamboat and grabs him by the throat, which earns him a slap across the face from the legend!

Griff and Austin to start, quick tags from the Gunns, Colten snaps it off...

Ass Boys win by pinfall with Colt .45 from Colten Gunn on Griff Garrison.

Billy Gunn gets on the mic and says that’s what he’s been trying to teach them, and he’s super proud of them and it’s the proudest part of his career to be able to work next to them.

Billy is distracted... AND HIS SONS ATTACK HIM AND LAY HIM OUT! THE ACCLAIMED MAKE THE SAVE AND THE ASS BOYS RUN FOR THE HILLS! Anthony Bowens puts the fingers up and asks Daddy Ass to scissor him! DADDY ASS SCISSORS HIM! BILLY STANDS WITH THE ACCLAIMED!

We go to break on a video package from Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh.

Back from commercial, Death Triangle call UNITED EMPIRE out.

PAC says Will Ospreay likes to parade himself around as the best Britain has produced, but he begs to differ, and he’s very much so looking forward to next week, and with his brothers beside him, they are unstoppable unit built for this tournament.

“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He says when he wore his “Christian is a pussy” t-shirt he got in trouble and was asked to never wear it again, but boy oh boy did that shirt nail things on the head. For weeks now he’s tried to hit Christian Cage every chance he gets, with his hands, with a chair, even with a car.

Cage has done absolutely nothing, and he personally would never just take that kind of treatment, but that’s just him. So either he can chase Christian as long as he has to until he gets hands on him, and he will, or he can man up and face him at All Out!

But of course he’s too much of a p—

He says no to the challenge, but not for the reason we think. Things are getting out of hand, Luchasaurus got himself suspended last week, and at the end of the day he’s actually proud of Jungle Boy. Out here with all this confidence and speaking for himself, a year ago it was like he’s from West Virginia and can’t string a sentence together!

He’s been thinking and obviously frustration boiled over when they lost the tag titles and they both did and said things that neither of them really meant, and he understands. He doesn’t want to fight, he wants to fix this and go on another run, and this time he’ll take Jack to the promised land!

At the end of the day, he’s like a son to him, and he asks Jungle Boy to come back home. Perry takes pause and seems to genuinely consider the offer, but instead of a hug he steps in with a double leg and rains down mounted punches on Christian! He takes Cage to the floor and smashes his face into the steps over and over!

Stepping on Christian’s hand... HE STOMPS CAGE’S ARM INTO THE INSIDE CORNER OF THE STEEL STEPS AND STARTS REBOUNDING HIS HEAD OFF THE STEEL LIKE A BASKETBALL! WE GOTTA GO TO BREAK!

Back from commercial, FTR and Wardlow cut a promo.

FTR say there’s no way they’ll let Wardlow get jumped, because nobody messes with the Pinnacle. Wardlow tells Satnam Singh that it doesn’t matter how big you are, everybody gets powerbombed. Dax Harwood says Jay Lethal might have once been the best in the world, but he truly thinks that today he’s the best, and they challenge them to a trios match next week.
