BUCHAREST (Romania), September 27 (SeeNews) - Hungarian company Terran said on Monday it plans to start next year sales in Romania and Croatia of solar tiles produced in its new factory in Pecs, Hungary.

The Pecs factory will produce over 200,000 solar tiles per year, Terran said in a press release.

"There is a high level of preliminary interest, and the conditions for the product release are set. In addition, since we have had our own concrete roof tile manufacturing unit in Romania since 2018, all other transport, storage and service options are also available," Terran regional marketing director Szabolcs Toth said.

Through the new unit, Terran aims to boost the production of sustainable energy for homes and public buildings throughout the region.

Headquartered in Boly, Terran operates roof tiles plants in Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia.
