Kmart fans are going wild over a new cult kitchen buy which has been described as “total game changer”.

The retail giant’s Sushi Making Kit retails for just $10 and promises to help you make sushi in minutes with zero mess.

The kit includes a machine that turns a few key ingredients into a perfect sushi roll, taking all the hard work out of the process.

One Kmart shopper took to TikTok to show how the new kitchen gadget works with a video that’s attracted nearly half a million views.

In the footage, the user - who uses the handle @mumma_2_three - can be seen placing sushi rice onto both sides of the contraption.

She then layered it with tuna, cucumber strips and avocado down the centre and closed the sushi maker..

From there, the mum used a plastic pipe - which comes with the kit - to push the sushi out, leaving a perfectly round roll.

She then rolled the sushi onto seaweed paper using the supplied bamboo mat.

Many TikTok users were keen to get their hands on a kit.

“This is awesome. Guess what I’m buying when I’m next in Kmart,” said one.

Wrote another: “I need one!”

Said a third: “This is a must.”

Other Kmart shoppers have taken to social media to praise the new buy after trying it.

“Bought the new Sushi maker, it’s so good. Made three rolls in like 10 minutes,” said one Facebook user.

“Total game changer,” added another. “Used to dread making sushi because of the mess, now it’s so easy.”

Said one more: “This machine is amazing, I use it all the time.”
