BELGRADE (Serbia), November 23 (SeeNews) - Serbian building materials producer Mladost has opened a 30 million euro ($34 million) roof tile manufacturing facility at its factory in Leskovac, the city government said.

The company has opened new 50 jobs at the new production facility, increasing the number of its employees at the Leskovac factory to 250, the Leskovac city government said in a statement on Monday.

"About 55 million tiles will be produced here annually," Leskovac mayor Goran Cvetanovic said.

The project included the installation of a 200,000 euro dedusting system, the managing director of Mladost, Milos Terzic, said in the statement.

In addition to the factory in Leskovac, Mladost also operates building blocks plants in Mala Plana, Stalac and Vlasotince, all of them in southern Serbia.
