Ford SEMA 2015 Customs Preview

Ford is going even more bananas for SEMA this year than usual!  We have at least two dozen custom Fords headed to the Vegas aftermarket equipment show — and that is just what we know so far. Last year included more than a few surprises closer to the event.

Among the eight custom Mustangs headed to the Ford SEMA stand, the BISIMOTO turbo might be the most tempting and body performance upgrade. The EcoBoost in question, by the way, is not the V6TT — but the Mustang EcoBoost’s stock 2.3-liter twin-scroll turbo!

A full carbon-fiber exterior looks sweet and sinister in the preview renders.

Another initial highlight? The Rally Innovations Focus!

A diverse collection of eight Mustangs gallop their way into the SEMA show this year. Downsizing is the popular option for the show as a majority of the Mustangs on the Ford stand will feature modified versions of the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine all creating substantial power with one dyno-shredding example coming in at 900 horsepower! Scroll down to see the range of Mustangs varying from track monsters to richly appointed street queens.

Ford continues its unrivaled support of the SEMA show this year with the largest OEM stand and over 50 vehicles on display. A step beyond display vehicles, Ford Out Front also offers attendees a unique experience of watching or riding in one of our performance car or trucks on a closed course.

900 Horsepower. What else can we say? Tripling the power of the EcoBoost Mustang is the result of Bisimoto’s drive to create reliable high performance parts for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. In all, Bisimoto designed 14 new parts for their #FordSEMA show car for the engine and chassis. They continue their tradition of creating awe-inspiring vehicles with this super powerful “BisiBoost” Mustang.

Looking for the best balance of handling and power, FSWERKS has created this well-refined Focus ST.  Keeping the exterior clean was a priority; the only changes you will see here are sideskirts, a front splitter and a more aggressive wheel/tire combination.  Their focus was on the heart of the ST, giving it more power through better breathing and a short throw shift kit for quicker, more precise throws.  To keep the ST a well-rounded overall performance vehicle, they also upgraded the brakes, added a lower front stress bar and anti-sway bar with a coilover suspension to keep everything buttoned up when taking on curvy roads or a track.

In the true spirit of SEMA, the Forza Motorsport team has created a trio of Ford historical racing themed Xbox One controllers as well as a high performance model of their Elite controller designed with the all-new Ford GT in mind.  SEMA is all about performance, reaching enthusiasts through unique products and pushing the limits of an individual platform, the Forza Motorsport team has embraced that idea with these concepts.

Ford continues its unrivaled support of the SEMA show this year with the largest OEM stand and over 50 vehicles on display.  A step beyond display vehicles, Ford Out Front also offers attendees a unique experience of watching or riding in one of our performance car or trucks on a closed course.

The similarities between the all-new Ford GT and the controller it influenced are not limited to just the beautiful Liquid Blue finish. On the subtle side this concept features carbon fiber in parts of the case to add strength and lightness. Also the Ford GT steering wheel provided direction on the shape and ergonomic positioning of the invaluable left thumbstick as well as paddles for shifting that mimic the design of the Ford GTs. The battery (Sorry, no EcoBoost here) housing has a clear design to represent the rear glass above the engine of the Ford GT. Last, but definitely not least the trigger buttons which act as your gas and brake pedals have been modified with the look of the GTs pedals. This is a design exercise that went to extraordinary lengths to be as true to the all-new Ford GT as possible and it does not disappoint.
